CITY CLERK

The City of Oxford is taking applications for the position of City Clerk. This position works under the administrative supervision of the Mayor and performs managerial and financial duties, as well as overseeing subordinate personnel.

The governing body is looking for an individual with a history of professionalism, sound decision making ability, administrative and organizational skills and a willingness to become actively engaged within the community. Applicants should have the ability to create a budget that reflects the values of the governing body and is preferred to have experience with local government. A contender for this position should have strong financial management skills and a dedication to quality public service.
