The City of Glasco is currently accepting applications and resumes for the position of Public Works Director. This is a full time leadership position with responsibilities of supervision, planning and coordination of strategic planning and maintenance activities. Applicants must have knowledge and/or be willing to attend training in the following: streets and street repair, parks and swimming pools, drainage systems, water quality control, water systems, electrical systems and processes, facilities and buildings. Applicants must ensure proper work quality within the established policies and procedures of the city, be actively involved with the mayor, city council and community organizations in carrying out strategic planning initiatives, have a valid Kansas driver’s license, with CDL preferred.
